COVID-19 Update | July 2, 2021
Important Highlights
At the direction of the SHEA Board, a multidisciplinary panel made up of Board Members, Guidelines Committee Members, and other SHEA leaders, as well as representatives from AMDA, APIC, HIVMA, IDSA, PIDS, and SIDP, and a group of legal and HR experts has produced a consensus document on COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment for healthcare personnel. It is under review by these organizations' leadership at this time. Please stay tuned for more information; we will notify you of release through a variety of channels upon finalization.
