COVID-19 cases and deaths among healthcare providers 
CDC has begun to include data for cases and deaths among healthcare providers. This information is updated daily and can be found on the U.S. Case Count page on the CDC COVID-19 web site.
Interim Guidelines for COVID-19 Antibody Testing in Clinical and Public Health Settings
CDC has added a new antibody testing guideline on its CDC-COVID-19 web site.
CDC Foundation COVID-19 Corps
The CDC Foundation is recruiting for critical positions related to the COVID-19. Open positions in all 50 states and U.S. territories can be found or will be posted on our COVID-19 Corps careers page. Jobs vary by state and locality, but include roles for epidemiologists, infection preventionists, informaticians, data analysts, laboratorians, community support specialists, community health program managers, project managers, and more.  Candidates should continue to check the website for new openings and roles as we continue to add jobs daily.

COVID-19 by the Week Survey
We are tracking SHEA members' experiences week-by-week. Responses are anonymous for a 4-question survey. The first 2 questions are demographic, and the second two are about current status and primary concerns. Please respond to each survey. We will provide an analysis and summary of findings after the pandemic decelerates.

  • Lowest availability at facilities (1=crisis-level; 5=sustainable): test or testing components (3.24), respirators (3.71), personal resiliency (3.72)
  • Highest availability at facilities (5=sustainable; 1=crisis-level): ventilators (4.47), beds (4.39), frontline workforce (4.22)
  • Most common "top 3 concerns": test or test component supply (55.6%); reliability of test results, non-COVID care, respirator supply (each 33.3%); factors around new therapeutics, PPE supply (both 27.8%)
  • Most common facility types: academic medical center (33.3%), acute care hospital (33.3%), community-based (27.8%)
  • 18 responses from AK, AL, FL, GA, IN (2), MA, MD, MI (2), MO, MT, NJ, NY (2), PA, SD, Mexico (1)
